It is about relapsing and dealing with cravings. We look at how to recognise and manage high risk situations. We will be introduced to SID. And lots of other bits and pieces such as quotations, historical aspects, and alcohol trivia.

C2H6OH is the chemical formula for ethanol (or ethyl alcohol). This is what we find in all alcoholic beverages. It is the only alcohol suitable for human consumption, derived from the fermentation of grains or fruit. It is also used in food products and cosmetics.

Methyl alcohol (methanol) and isopropanol are forms of alcohol used in things like anti-freeze, hand sanitisers, paint thinnners and household cleaning products. They are highly toxic if consumed. The danger from illicitly distilled alcohol and fake alcohol drinks derives from contamination with these substances and other adulterants such as lead and arsenic. Stay clear!!
